Wide-ranging agreement will help OmniTrust further penetrate Japanese market; joint product integration will combine the best of physical security and content protection
MOUNTAIN VIEW. Calif. – July 15. 2004 – OmniTrusfrm Security Systems, Inc. (formerly Probix, Inc.). a provider of content protection security services. today announced a wide-ranging partnership with Nippon Techno Lab. Inc. (Nil). intended to offer even greater information security for customers of both companies. NTL, a leading software development and consulting company in Japan. will distribute and OEM OmniTrust products in Japan, enabling OnmiTrust to further penetrate the Japanese market. NTL will also integrate OnutiTnist products with its popular PC Guard product, a personal computer authentication device. to offer the best in physical security and content protection.
NTL to resell, OEM OmniTrust product line
The agreement calls for NTL to distribute OmniTrust products throughout Japan. as well as to offer them on an OEM basis under private label. These products include the OnmiTnist Web Content Protector solution that safeguard electronic content. even after the content has been sent, allowing NTL customers to augment the physical security offered by PC Guard with permanent control of electronic communication and content. NTL will also resell the recently-announced OmniTrust Web Browser Protector, a simple HTML and web server plug-in that prevents misuse of confidential customer information.
OmniTrust products to be integrated with PC Guard
In order to offer its customers the best of both physical PC security and comprehensive content security measures. NTL will also integrate the OmniTrust products with PC Guard. A non-intrusive, standards-based cross
platform solution. the OmniTnist software products encrypt and wrap content with extremely detailed usage policies, accompanied by mobile code that travels with the information permanently. These measures allow companies to centrally configure and control exactly how content will be used and by whom. even after the content has been distributed electronically.
