(AGS), and GPXS Services (GPXS) announced a major expansion of their services and geographic scope of operations through a new Joint Venture (JV), Avalon Advanced Mobility Solutions, Inc. (AAMS). The JV will combine the strengths and resources of both companies to create a global mobility management services capability for enterprise customers requiring advanced BlackBerry and smartphone managed services.
The joint venture will be lead by Scott Perry, an industry veteran who most recently was President of GPXS and running GPXS software business.   The JV will become the exclusive reseller of GPXS Services AG in the North American marketplace. CSE teams with OmniTrust to Offer Leading Content Security Software Solution To Customer Base

Browser-Based Content Security Software Enables Company To Protect

(formerly Probix, Inc.), a leading provider of content security services, today announced that its master reseller in Japan, Nomura Research Institute, Ltd., delivered the OmniTrust Web Browser product (marketed as Protected Browser outside of Japan) product to SOFTBANK BB Corp. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) who is managing the Yahoo! BB Service.
At SOFTBANK BB, employees routinely access information from the Client Information Management System which runs on IIS on Windows 2000 servers. It became necessary for SOFTBANK BB to find a robust solution to help manage and control confidential information accessed by the employees and to ensure compliance with new privacy laws. SOFTBANK BB turned to the Web Browser Protector solution from OmniTrust / Nomura Research Institute in Japan. After careful evaluation, SOFTBANK BB adopted the system as it provides an environment in which authorized internal users can access highly confidential information, such as the clients’ information, in a secure, auditable manner. The deciding factors were the simplicity of installation, robust functionality, high-quality security management and cost-effectiveness.

With Protected Browser, SOFTBANK BB employees can now control operations such as ‘Print’, ‘Save’ and ‘Copy & Paste’, while the HTML content is viewed in Internet Explorer. They also have similar control over content dynamically created in HTML by web applications such as their Client Information System and Internal Information Shared System which has a search capability and database update functionality.

NTL to resell, OEM OmniTrust product line
The agreement calls for NTL to distribute OmniTrust products throughout Japan. as well as to offer them on an OEM basis under private label. These products include the OnmiTnist Web Content Protector solution that safeguard electronic content. even after the content has been sent, allowing NTL customers to augment the physical security offered by PC Guard with permanent control of electronic communication and content. NTL will also resell the recently-announced OmniTrust Web Browser Protector, a simple HTML and web server plug-in that prevents misuse of confidential customer information.

In order to offer its customers the best of both physical PC security and comprehensive content security measures. NTL will also integrate the OmniTrust products with PC Guard. A non-intrusive, standards-based cross

platform solution. the OmniTnist software products encrypt and wrap content with extremely detailed usage policies, accompanied by mobile code that travels with the information permanently. These measures allow companies to centrally configure and control exactly how content will be used and by whom. even after the content has been distributed electronically.

Korea Telecom to Increase Deployment to 40,000 Employees

OmniTrustTm Security Systems, Inc., a leading provider of content security services, and its master reseller in Korea, M3 Tech, a provider of security technologies and consulting services, announced today that M3 Tech was selected by Korea Telecom to provide an enterprise-wide document security system solution and email protection system. Using the Trustee document security technology, employees of Korea Telecom are now able to secure the ongoing use and distribution of internal documents and email messages.

Trustee for Portals’` enables Korea Telecom to secure documents and files stored on and retrieved from their document management system, GroupWare system and electronic library document systems. The Trustee administration tool enables the company to set policies for different sets of content and users. Korea Telecom can limit or restrict a user’s ability to view, print or forward sensitive materials, as well as provide protection against remote desktop sharing applications and screen capturing programs. A comprehensive audit trail enables the company to view all attempted and completed operations on protected content.
